Angel strings are NOT meant to wax as there already is a coating over it. Only wax when the coating has worn out 

Additional information on angel 777

Introduced middle of 2017 as a new material for compound bows. This works for recurve as well (I use it and love it). String speed is fast and provides a lot of feeling

- less creep (~2mm in brace height)

- less stretch (~<1mm in brace height when shooting)

The material is hence "stiffer" and may be more sensitive when shooting. (I.e. releases that are not clean may be more obvious in arrow score and sound)
